First of all, we've changed things a little here on the Cat 5 blog. You can now access the websites of nearly all of our artists via a sidebar to the right featuring links to their websites/myspace profiles.
Secondly, we're moving forward on some more promoting for Swamp Stomp. Our artists are going on first, at 5pm, so be sure to get there early! In addition we're going to have the whole Cat 5 team there and we'll be posting a password on our Twitter in the days leading up to Swamp Stomp for a special Cat 5 giveaway! So come on out to hear some great music, support South Florida independent music, and get a super secret free prize!

- Cat 5 Music Publishing was founded in 2002 as the first graduate student-run music publishing company in the nation. While based out of the University of Miami’s top-ranking Music Business program, the company exists as an entirely separate business entity. We operate as a full service music publishing company, meaning that we work on two levels: first, we search to find placements in television, movie and commercial spots for the songs that are part of our continually expanding catalogue, and second, we find our clients specific music to suit their needs: If the song they’re looking for isn’t in our catalogue already, we’ll go out and find it, or we’ll find the right person to custom compose it.
